Commercial Design

In this course the challenge is to design an upscale corporate interior reflecting the comprehension of problem identification, research, programming, preliminary design and design development. Problem solving on the centers of technical aspects in the universal design of commercial environments, such as space planning with code applications, wayfinding techniques and specifying corporate furnishings, architectural details, and materials. Course also focuses on using AutoCAD to generate two and three dimensional drawings as well as understand what is required of a computer aided drafting operator in the industry. Students are introduced to Architectural Desktop and develop their technical skills and drafting knowledge.
